Using backlight when photographing
I can create a soft, even, but well lit image by using back light in certain situations. You can see two examples from the images below. The one on the left is from the Tomoka River Basin & Ocean Shore (image #0007) and the one on the right is from the Spruce Creek (image #0041) portfolio.

Are your eyeglasses fogging up?
I was having a lot of trouble with my glasses fogging up in the summer while photographing. I went to a dive shop and was told that if I cleaned my glasses with plain Pledge it would alleviate this problem.
